Vision Trip to Tanzania, January 28-February 12, 2013

A Vision Trip to Tanzania will strengthen your faith and build a personal relationship with our brothers and sisters in Tanzania. Some say it is life changing! This trip will include staying in a home and visiting the villages, schools, orphanage and a hospital. The highlight will be Sunday worship at Mudio and Karansi Lutheran Parishes. Youth/VBS Haiti Mission Trip, July 2013

2013 offers a unique opportunity for our partnership with Haiti and the Haitian Timoun (Children’s) Foundation. This coming summer, a six person team from Sheridan Lutheran, three Sheridan staff and three high school students, will join with two ELCA congregations from Georgia and Colorado to provide a summer camp experience in Jacmel, Haiti. More than 200 children will gather to hear of God’s love for them through two meals a day, VBS curriculum, singing and fun! Support this ministry by giving a financial gift or a musical instrument that’s in good working order, for a TETKOLE band in Jacmel. This band is comprised of youth who are at risk of being on the streets. The band offers them a safe and creative place to be a part of something great! 

El Salvador Mission Trip, July 13-21, 2013

In partnership with Habitat For Humanity in El Salvador, we will visit current mission partners in Haiti. Opportunities to provide hands-on service abound. If you are someone in the home repair and construction like to reach out to provide your skills to the poor, this is a trip to consider. Approximate cost $2,000.
