The 30 Hour Famine is a national hunger awareness event sponsored by World Vision, a Christian relief organization. During the event, participants raise money to aid starving children and raise awareness about hunger.  Sheridan’s 30 Hour Famine is April 24-25.  The fast is broken with commuion at the Saturday evening worship followed by a meal with parents. Participants (age 12 +) will compete for “survival” in a game called “Tribe,” serve the Lincoln community, and have fun . . . without food!

Education and Classes

Bringing your Family to Sheridan

Sheridan's Ministry for Children, Youth and Families is Living God's promises as the family of God to equip all to walk as disciples of Christ. Opportunities abound for families to engage in God’s story in very hands-on ways. Wednesdays @ the Well offers a worship service that is family-friendly. The classes offered following the service reach the ages of toddlers to adults. Sunday mornings offer education classes for Preschool – 5th grade.
