Bible Camp Changes Lives-It's that simple!

Carol Joy Holling Camp (CJH) is not just a place where we "send" our young people. Located just 35 minutes away, CJH is our camp...and therefore we are part "owners" in it. We are partners. Nebraska Lutheran Outdoor Ministries operates two on site summer camps, one in Ashland (approx. 35 minutes away) and one in Lodgepole, NE. It is a great resource for us, whether it's taking kids and youth there for a life-changing week in the summer or a weekend retreat during the year.

As members of the Nebraska Synod, Sheridan is blessed to be a part of changing lives in our congregation and in others around Nebraska.

Camp is an important part of our children and youth ministry. During the summer we like to think of it as an extension of our programming here. It's a part of our ministry.

Each summer we promote a "Sheridan Week" to allow our Sheridan children and youth the comfort of recognizing fellow youth. Register online here, or print a paper registration form, for Week 7 (July 15-20) for "Sheridan Week". Be sure to use promo code "SHERIDAN" to save $20 on your registration. To get the discount, please register before March 1.

To help with costs, and to show support of camping ministry, camperships are available for each Sheridan child to participate in one session at an ELCA Lutheran summer camp, (up to $100 for a full week session and $50 for a partial week session). Contact Julie Hestermann for more information on camperships.

Families are asked to mail in registrations with deposits directly to NLOM, but let the church know when your child is planning on attending so we can connect you with other families from Sheridan. Additional information for camp is available online or at the Activities Center.
