Children's Church

3 Year olds through 5th Grade

Children’s Church is our Sunday morning education program. At Children’s Church, children will begin worship with their parents, come forward for the children’s message, and then be dismissed for age appropriate activities using Kids Church curriculum.  Children will be able to explore the Bible story through hands-on activities including storytelling, games, computers and art.  We will utilize mixed age groups with Preschooler and Kindergarten children together in one area and 1st through 5th graders in another area.  Children's Church will meet June 8-29 and August 3-24 during the 9:45 and 11:00 church services.

Education Mission Statement

The Mission and Vision of Sheridan's Education Ministries is to equip all of God's children, youth and adults to grow in, share and celebrate the life-long journey of maturing faith as we grow together in God's grace.  Our education ministries aim to help persons at different ages and stages consider their calling and role in passing on the faith to others.  The goal of many of Sheridan's programs is also to provide for opportunities for mission, outreach and service as multiple generations work and serve hand in hand together.
