Missionate! Mission & Outreach Newsletter
The best way to keep updated on Sheridan's Mission & Outreach programs is through our occasional Mission & Outreach newsletter. In each edition we will look at some of the exciting opportunities for outreach locally, domestically and internationally. You will also be exposed to stories of those who have gone on mission trips and have served in local ministries.

Make a Difference through our Mission Partners
Tanzania AIDS Orphan Scholarship Project
Education is very important in Tanzania. However, there are many students who are not able to attend school because their families cannot afford the school fees. Students who have lost parents to AIDS are especially not likely to attend school. You can provide scholarships for AIDS orphans and enable students in Tanzania to live loving, productive lives. Go to tanzaniaorphans.cfsites.org for more information on the Tanzania AID Orphans
The Bolivian Street Children Project
The Bolivian Street Children Project is a Christian social welfare organization that addresses the unique needs of street children in Bolivia and around the world. They work to uncover the potential of these children and make a lasting difference in their lives, one small child at a time. The Bolivian Street Children Project befriends children on the streets of La Paz, Bolivia and provides relief services for them while encouraging them to leave the streets and enter one of their homes for former street children. The Bolivian Street Chldren Project runs multiple homes and substitute families for former street children. More information is available on their website at www.bolivianstreetchildren.org
Haitian Timoun Foundation

The Haitian Timoun Foundation is a non-profit organization with a simple, Christ-centered vision: “That ALL May Have LIFE!” All administrative costs are covered. That means, 100% of contributions go directly to help Haitian kids. We only partner with Haitian-run organizations with a proven track record, transparent accounting, life-giving missions, and impeccable ethics. In 2007, we offered grants and sponsorships totaling more than $200,000 in direct fiscal investment; and tens of thousands of dollars worth of donated services and “in-kind” investment. By 2011, the Foundation envisions growth beyond $1,000,000. More information is available on their website at www.hopeinhaiti.org.
Support our Sister Congregations

Mudio Lutheran Parish & Karansi Lutheran Parish are located in the Kilimanjaro region of Northern Tanzania. As sister congregations, Mudio, Karansi and Sheridan partner to strengthen one another for life and mission. We mutually participate in one another's lives through prayer, study, communication, and the exchange of pastors, leaders, visitors, and resources.
