Kingdom Quest (September-May)
Kingdom Quest is the name of our Sunday morning education program for children age three (by October 15, 2010 and potty-trained) through kindergarten. Kingdom Quest is held at 9:45 and 11:00 on Sunday mornings in the Children’s Ministry Wing. The same curriculum is used during both hours which allows families to choose which time and learning style is the best fit.
At 9:45 the format is rotation style with children starting together for a large group opening and then rotating through centers with other children their age. Children will be actively engaged in learning the Bible story through crafts, games and music.
At the 11:00 hour, families can choose from two options. The first option is for children to start class at 11:00 with games and activities. The second option is for children to begin the hour in worship with their families. After the Children’s Message, children will be dismissed to take part in Kingdom Quest for the rest of the hour. This second option is great for kids who want to worship with their families for a short time before heading off to activities geared just for them. Once all of the children have joined together in the classroom, they will hear a Bible story followed by time for crafts, games and music that reinforce the story. The format for both start times is classroom style with 3 year olds, 4 year olds and kindergartners coming together in one classroom.
Children's Ministry Registration forms for the 2010-11 school year are available here. We ask that parents register their children for both Sunday and mid-week activities.
Praise Kids (September-April)
Preschool and kindergarten children focus on a Bible story using books, drama, rhymes, games, crafts and music. This one hour class follows the Wednesdays @ the Well calendar and is offered on Wednesday's at 10am and immediately after Worship on Wednesday nights. Families are encouraged to worship together at 6pm and then move to education from 6:30-7:30. Contact Julie Anderson or Tami Ocken with any questions.
