Spirit Ringers
"Spirit Ringers" is a handbell choir for 1st-5th grade students. Spirit Ringers practice for 5-6 weeks to play in weekend worship, or at a Wednesday @ the Well service, or to play offsite at Spirit of Hope or other venues. Knowing how to read music is not necessary, but is helpful. Students are taught to read music while playing 'real' handbells. This choir is limited to 12 ringers and spots fill up fast! Contact Julie Anderson if you want to play in the upcoming session.
A new session of handbells is starting September 19th. We will practice for four Sundays and then play at all 4 services on Oct 16/17.
WAM Sessions
WAM stands for “Worship Arts & Music” and is a Wednesday night music opportunity for 1st-5th graders. WAM sessions will teach kids that they can participate in worship through music.
Come and learn worship songs on Wednesday nights after worship beginning September 8th. We will begin in the Gathering Room for Bible Time and take a little tour of the new building. We will end with a short WAM session. I need vocalists and instrumentalists, so if you play a band or orchestral instrument bring it to the second week of practice and we will experiment together. We will lead worship for Wednesdays @ the Well on October 20th. Email Julie Anderson with any questions.
Middle School and High School Youth
Bring your instrument and/or your voice on Wednesday evenings where Worship is led by youth. We are looking for instrumentalists (strings, brass, woodwinds, keyboards, percussion, guitar, bass) and vocal leaders to join this uplifting praise band. Contact Kristen Works or Julie Anderson for more information.
