Women's Activities

Sheridan’s women’s activities are designed to Encourage the hearts and minds of women to know, love and serve God. Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Sheridan’s Women’s Ministries Team is dedicated to nurturing each woman's relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through spiritual growth, service, and fellowship. The goal is to encourage you to become involved in Bible studies that allow you to understand your calling to know Jesus, love God and others, share your faith with your family and friends and care for each other.

Beth Moore Study: Breaking Free
Every other Thursday, beginning Jan. 10,
9:30 to 11:30am or 6:30 to 8:30pm, Room 316

In this study, Beth Moore looks at the Book of Isaiah through the lives of the kings who ruled during the prophet’s ministry. These kings exemplify many of the obstacles to freedom with which we must deal. Using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in your life, no matter how big or small, we’ll learn that anything that hinders us from the benefits of knowing God is bondage. This new study includes testimonies of how women have found freedom and have been delivered from personal captivity. This 10 session study will conclude May 16. Workbooks are available in the church office for $15.

Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study
Begins Wed., Jan. 9, 9:30am in the office Conference Room

Jesus Christ is the most extraordinary person who ever lived. This six-week Stonecroft Bible study experience will help you discover why Jesus came to Earth, what He said, and what He accomplished. You will find fresh inspiration for engaging with Him in life-transforming ways. Each lesson includes helpful at-home Bible study opportunities, as well as open-ended questions for sharing in a small group setting. This study will be facilitated by Pat Sanford and Karan Wittig. Study books and NLT Abundant Life Bibles are available for $16 in the Church office.
