Men's Activities

There are many opportunities for the men of Sheridan to gather, discuss, study, and pray. Young dads, new grandfathers and men seasoned by life's experience are all encouraged to join a group to share and grow in appreciation of God's plan for each of us.

All Fathers and children (boys and girls), grandpas and grandchildren, uncles and nephews/nieces, and all other men and children are invited.

Please bring your own fishing gear, lawn chairs, insect repellant, sun screen, and beverages.  Grilled burgers, hotdogs, and baked beans will be provided.  A free will offering will be taken for the meal.

The greatest gift you can give a child is your time.  There will be a Sign-up at the Activities Center or e-mail Pastor Jeremy.

Take a break from your busy fall schedules to come relax at a Lincoln Saltdogs baseball game.  

Men of all ages are welcome to come have fellowship and conversation together as we watch the Saltdogs take on Sioux City Explores.  We are working on getting group discount tickets for the game.  Men can carpool or just meet at the park.

As the event draws nearer, there will be a Sign-up at the Activities Center.

Men’s Ministry Retreat Center Renovation Help

Starting June 1st the Men’s Ministry will begin to renovate the Retreat Center (the old farm house on the hill).  The project includes making the house handicap accessible, creating larger meeting spaces, providing an adequate room and space for the backpack program, and more.  We are asking people of all skill levels and abilities to help.  At the Activities Center there are sign-up sheets for short time slots to come and help or contact Pastor Jeremy.  If you can find an hour or two to volunteer we would love your help.
