Our Facility

Sheridan is blessed with a wonderful facility, which is a blessing regularly shared with our community and members.  Part of our outreach to our city and community is allowing outside groups to use the church facility for dinners, meetings and other events.  If you are interested in learning more about renting a portion of our facility for your event please look over our rental brochure below.

Outdoor Worship Area & Columbarium

While many people immediately recognize the front of our building, the land and facilities behind the building is one of Sheridan's best-kept secrets.  Sheridan also has an outdoor worship area that can be used for wedddings and other special events.  There is also columbarium with niches available for the remains of your loved one.  Starting at the southwest end of the parking lot there is also a walking trail with benches overlooking our pond and outdoor meditation center.  Often turkeys, deer, fox and other wild animals can be seen in the area surrounding the pond.  This walking trail and outdoor meditaion areas are open to the public year-round.

Education Wing Expansion

Our Commitment To Children and Families

When Sheridan relocated six years ago, the only concern we had when moving into this beautiful facility was that the total amount of education space might not be enough. Our fears were realized much sooner than expected. In each of our first five years in our new home we baptized over 100 children. This has led us to the current expansion of our facility.

We invite you to walk and see the new wing as it “springs” from the ground. The new wing will feature eight new, expansive classrooms, a very large youth room, library, kitchen and coffee reception area. The size of these rooms will be large enough for our growing number of children and high school youth. The youth room will be a room in which a small worship service could be held. These classrooms will enable our preschool children to move from our current Family Life Center. An added benefit will be that the Family Life Center will be transitioned to a “family-friendly” worship space where parents of young children and others can worship each Sunday in a more relaxed atmosphere while still feeling part of the worship we all share.

All of this comes as an expression of Sheridan’s commitment to children and families. We value our children. We value children’s spiritual growth. And we value being comfortable worshipping together as a family. Eight years ago, when the entire process of relocation was begun, we were certain that God was leading us and would provide. We continue to trust that God’s hand is providing for us as a family.
