Who is a Young Adult?

Young Adults are 18-30+ years old, but by no means is that the rule! Some are younger, some are older, some are single, some are married, some are dating, and some are looking for a date. Some live with family, others live on their own, most are looking for a home! Some are students, and others are on the career-path. Young Adults are also the "invisible" generation in the church. They are grouped together because they are the largest age group missing from the church. At Sheridan, Young Adults are valued. They have a place, a purpose, and a voice. Find yours at any of our upcoming young adult events!

Make a Date With Your Mate

Make a Date With Your Mate every Saturday night at 6:30 p.m. from April 5 thru May 10. This date night is for engaged and married couples (with or without children) of all ages and anniversary years. Every Saturday night from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m., therapist Heidi Widner with the Samaritan Counseling Center in Lincoln, will present a topic that couples encounter in their relationship. Following the half-hour presentation, couples are encouraged to enjoy a night out together, or with other couples from the class, and discuss the presentation. Attend one or all six of the sessions and your relationship will benefit – no matter how long you’ve been together!
